Frequently Asked Questions
Do you only work with startups?
No. I work with pre-seed founders as well as established enterprises needing custom internal engines. I scale my involvement and the architecture to match the current stage of your business.
How is this different from an agency?
Traditional agencies have immense overhead, account managers, and junior developers executing the work. Here, you get high-level technical strategy directly from me. I act as your technical partner, while execution is handled swiftly by my closely-knit, highly-vetted internal team.
What is your main technology stack?
I prefer robust, scalable, and modern tools. The core stack usually includes Next.js, React, Node.js, and TypeScript. For databases, I rely heavily on PostgreSQL (often via Supabase or Neon), Firebase, and Redis for caching. Infrastructure is typically deployed across Vercel, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or AWS.
How do you handle Intellectual Property (IP)?
You retain 100% ownership of everything built during the engagement. Upon project completion and final payment, all source code, infrastructure credentials, third-party accounts, and design assets are fully transferred to your total control. I leave zero vendor lock-in.
How does your pricing work?
I operate generally on fixed-price sprints or value-based project pricing rather than hourly billing. This aligns our incentives—you get a clear outcome, and I optimize for efficiency and quality. Standard web/mobile MVP engagements typically range from $15,000 to $40,000 depending on complexity, while enterprise platforms scale up.
What are typical project timelines?
Speed-to-market is critical. A standard MVP development cycle takes between 6 to 8 weeks. Larger enterprise platforms or complex multi-tenant SaaS applications usually require 3 to 4 months of structured, milestone-driven sprints.
Can I hire you just for technical consulting?
Absolutely. Sometimes you don't need a full build. I offer technical consulting for system architecture reviews, database modeling for scale, and auditing external vendor code to ensure your in-house team is building on solid ground.
Who actually builds my application?
I handle all system architecture, core data models, and complex integrations personally. I then distribute module-level tasks to my dedicated internal engineering team, conducting rigorous code-reviews before any code is merged into the main branch.
Do you offer post-launch support and maintenance?
Yes. Launch day is just the beginning. I offer structured retainer agreements for ongoing maintenance, infrastructure scaling, scaling APIs, and building subsequent phase-two features.
What if I need to pause the development in the middle of a sprint?
I work in focused sprints, usually 2 weeks long. If business priorities shift drastically, you can pause at the end of an active sprint without penalty, and we can resume when your requirements are solid again.
